It should be noted that on the "Picture Story" link there is the photo of the body   of the illegal alien that eight and a half months earlier had totaled my jeep.  VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!  It is not that I'm sadistic but as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words".

With my jeep finished, you're never finished with a WWII jeep, and the
Gemco T-1
1/4 ton trailer.  finished.  I can now get started on the Mite.  I think the Mite will be pretty easy since it's all there and in great shape.

Both the WWII jeep and the Gemco have been sold.  The jeep went to a gentleman in Florida.  He got one hell of a jeep.   The trailer went to a gentleman on the Sacramento Delta, he too got a very nice trailer!

Welcome to my website.  My name is Bill Hollinger and I live in the mountain community of Tehachapi, California.  I will be working on the1962 American Motors M422A1 Mighty Mite, serial number 3047.  The '44 MB is not my first go at restoring a jeep.   I restored a 1946 Williys CJ2A that later became a 1942 Ford Willys Cross with the help of an illegal alien and a 12 pack of beer (see pictures to left).  After an extensive stay in the hospital and over a year later she was back on the road, but with all the appeal absent, she had to go.  And so she did, to a couple in Oceanside, Ca.  I hope they're as happy with her as I was.

Please sign my guest book and let me know what you think.
